IHLA has been offering a scholarship program for the past 10 years. We are pleased to offer post-secondary scholarships for our member teachers and instructors to help support their professional development. IHLA AWARDS (New)

IHLA has launched two new special awards in the summer of 2010. Find out below what the awards are all about and the application forms.

On Saturday, February 20, 2010, as IHLA celebrated its 32nd anniversary at the Italian Cultural Centre in Edmonton, it announced the establishment of two new awards that will be available to its members beginning in the 2010-2011 school year.  The awards titles are: The Olenka Bilash Leadership Award and the Sabatino Roncucci Teacher Award.

These awards were established a a way for IHLA to recognize and cherish the support and phenomenal contributions to the IHLA initiatives, mandate and activities over the year of Dr. Bilash and Sab Roncucci.

The awards will be granted each year to two successful applicants, and will be of the value of up to $500.00 each subject to accessible funding.

The deadlines for the awards are as follows:

• The Olenka Bilash Leadership Award: April 1 of current school year (Beginning in 2010/2011)

• The Sabatino Roncucci Leadership Award: December 15 of current school year (beginning in 2010/2011)
