The Juneli School of Nepali Language has been operational since 2004. This is one of the effective and self-sustained programs of the Nepalese Canadian Society of Edmonton (NECASE). A few batches of children have successfully graduated from the program. This program has contributed significantly in maintaining the Nepali Language and culture among new generation children and youth. The School has been running under the guidance of NECASE Board and the Parents Advisory Council. Currently, three teachers and two student volunteer teachers are devoted to teach Nepali language to the children of different skill levels. Teachers are engaging children in learning through different activities while having fun at the same time. These activities include both in class and outdoor. Storytelling, talent show, show and tell, field visits, movie nights are the highlights of such activities.

The language class is held at NECASE Centre located at 5624, 53 Ave NW, Edmonton (T6B 3K1) every Sunday from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM except during Christmas, spring, and summer breaks. Currently, there are 28 kids enrolled. The School opens the registration for the kids in the community who are 6 years of age or older. For more information regarding the School please visit
